Youth Community Service Award Scholarship:
The Youth Community Service Award is designed to assist those graduating from Grade 12 in the Columbia Basin to pursue post-secondary education or training. The award focuses on community service rather than academic achievement. Community service can relate to your local school, regional, provincial, national or international service activities.
Youth Summit:
The purpose of the youth forum is to create a means for young people in the Columbia Basin to get together, formulate ideas, and move them in to action. The youth summit will be happening May 2012. Keep tuned in to www.cbt.org/connect for information!
Scratch Magazine & Scratchonline:
SCRATCH magazine connects youth in the Columbia Basin and encourages the exchange of information about issues and ideas of interest to youth. SCRATCH is one part of CBT’s Youth Media Program. The magazine is published twice yearly with all the writing and artwork submitted by Basin youth.
SCRATCHonline is one of the ways we find and choose submissions for the SCRATCH magazine. The website highlights CBT Youth Initiatives, events and promotes social networking through a gallery of great art, photography and writing.
